According to a press release, Atlas Ocean Voyages 2024 Arctic season will feature two yachts instead of one for the first time.
World Voyager and World Traveller will sail 11 expedition voyages, spanning from 7 to 12 nights; the yachts will be exploring the Arctic Region with departures from Oslo, Tromso, Longyearbyen, Kangerlussuaq and Reykjavik.
The Featured Itineraries Included:
- Captivating North Cape: A seven-night expedition from Tromso to Longyearbyen, departing on June 21 on World Voyager. The ports of call are all along the Norwegian Coast, including Hammerfest and Skarsvag, Norway, before leading up to the stunning landscapes of Svalbard.
- Wilderness & Wonders of Svalbard: A nine-night Arctic adventure, a roundtrip on World Voyager sailing from Longyearbyen and Svalbard. Departures are on June 28 and July 7 (Arctic Sojourn). There is also an extended 11-night expedition, which departs on July 16, 2024 (Svalbard Odyssey).
- The Arctic 2024 season is now visiting Greenland, a first-time offering that allows guests to explore Iceland, Greenland, and Svalbard all in one journey. Expeditions range from nine to twelve nights. The departure dates are August 5 (Glaciers of Greenland), August 15 (Viking & Vistas), August 21 (Iceland & Greenland Passage), August 25 (Greenland Explorer), September 1 (Greenland Marvels), and September 6, 2024 (Peaks, Parks & Fjords).
- Guests travelling can also opt for a unique expedition departing from Oslo to Reykjavik on August 10, 2024 (Iceland & Norway Sojourn). Before crossing the Norwegian Sea, this voyage also features the Norwegian coastal ports of Flam, Stavanger, Olden, Bergen, and Alesund. There is also the opportunity to explore Icelandic ports such as Akureyri, Seyoisfjorour, Isafjorour, and Reykjavik.
