Zambezi Queen Itineraries & Inclusions
Zambezi Queen’s Africa cruise itineraries cover approximately 25km of the Chobe River. Flowing through Chobe National Park, the river is densely populated by wildlife, with elephants, lions, cheetahs, and buffalo roaming freely. Throughout a Zambezi Queen cruise, you can enjoy a range of excursions, including boat safaris, jeep safaris, and the chance to visit an African village.
Zambezi Queen itineraries are available to book for either 2, 3, or 4 nights, with most guests choosing to combine their Chobe River cruise with a land programme on either side of the voyage. Popular choices include pre-cruise stays in Cape Town and Victoria Falls. At the same time, the available post-cruise options range from a 3-night safari in Kruger National Park to a journey aboard the iconic Rovos Rail.

Zambezi Queen Accommodation
Zambezi Queen offers a choice of 14 suites across three different accommodation categories. The suites boast private balconies and are well-appointed with ensuite bathroom facilities, comfortable seating and oversized King beds.

At 300 sq. ft., the Master Suite is the largest accommodation category on Zambezi Queen and benefits from a sitting area and additional balcony space.
Zambezi Queen Dining
Situated on Deck 3, The Dining Room is Zambezi Queen’s only restaurant and provides seating for all guests. The surroundings and decor are airy and elegant, and the restaurant’s high vantage point offers stunning panoramic views of the passing scenery and nearby landscapes.Â
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all served in The Dining Room. The menus consist of international cuisine and traditional African dishes such as Moroho (South African greens with chilli and onion) and pap (porridge made from coarsely-ground maize).
Activities, Entertainment & Facilities
Life onboard Zambezi Queen is relaxed and unhurried. When not exploring ashore on a small group tour, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the ship’s facilities. While there is no specific entertainment or activity programme, you will find there are many ways to spend your time as you cruise from one place of interest to the next.
The ship’s top deck is the most popular spot during the day, with its plunge pool providing a refreshing break from the African sun. The open-air space also boasts sun loungers with covered seating available should you wish to spend time in the shade. Also, on the top deck, you will find Zambezi Queen’s lounge area and bar, which boasts 360-degree views and pleasant river breezes. During the evening, guests will commonly congregate here for a nightcap and take in stunning starlit views across the plains.
