Ko Samui is regarded as a relatively new cruise destination, with the first visitors thought to have explored the island in the early 1970’s. The 3rd largest of the Thai Islands, Ko Samui offers much in the way of water sports, such as snorkelling and scuba diving, though for the less adventurous, the beautiful beaches and rural landscape make for the perfecting setting for a relaxing break ashore.
