Dalyan River Cruises
The Dalian River (also known as the Dalhyn River) and resort town of Dalian are situated at the western end of the Turquoise Coast, the southwestern corner of Turkey. At first glance, this is a picture one hardly expects to see in Turkey. The lovely, unspoiled freshwater Koycegiz lake teeming with fish, a lush marshy delta, a no longer lonely, deserted beach where sea turtles lay their eggs, a lazy reed-fringed river meandering into the sea. The deep reed beds provide a natural sanctuary for many species of birds, ranging from heron to kingfisher and cormorant. Watch out for mosquitoes!
