Quebec Cruise
Quebec is the second largest city in the Capitale-Nationale region. It is about 233 kilometres northeast of Montreal, located on the St. Lawrence River Valley. The cruises disembark right at the heart of Quebec’s historical district, enabling passengers to enjoy the charms of the major tourist sites of Old Quebec City, including the Musée de la Civilisation, the Chateau Frontenac and the Petit Champlain district.
Quebec city is one of the oldest European settlements in North America. Its name comes from an Algonquin word for “where the river narrows.” The year 1608 marked the beginning of a continual French presence in the area.
