Dining on MS Paul Gauguin

Paul Gauguin Dining Cuisine

The ship’s main dining room, L’Etolie, is open for evening meals between 18:30 and 21:00 and offers a combination of international and regionally influenced dishes. Meals in L’Etolie are served course-by-course at your table and its open-seating policy complements the relaxed onboard atmosphere.

For breakfast and lunch, Le Grill offers a mouth-watering selection of buffet options. During breakfast, you can expect all the classic choices (cereals, toasts, eggs etc), while lunchtime offers a choice of internally-themed cold and hot dishes. You can also choose to dine at Le Grill during the evening, where you can enjoy table service and a variety of Pacific specialities.

The ship’s third restaurant, La Veranda, is similar to Le Grill and therefore represents an alternative venue for lunch and breakfast, while in the evening it transforms into French fine dining restaurant should you wish to try something completely different during your cruise.

MS Paul Gauguin Entertainment & Facilities

Paul Gauguin Entertainment Grand Salon

In terms of onboard entertainment, MS Paul Gauguin really shines when it comes to water sports. The ship’s shallow draft allows it to anchor easily in places other ships can’t reach and its retractable marina platform offers perfect access to the crystal waters. The ship carries a variety of water-sports apparatus so windsurfing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, scuba and snorkelling can occur almost daily.

For those in search of something a little more relaxing, every cruise on MS Paul Gauguin is accompanied by a team of expert lecturers and guest speakers who will provide insight into the region’s history and culture as the cruise visits each port of call.

With so much to enjoy onboard and ashore, the evening entertainment onboard MS Paul Gauguin is low key. While performances from local Polynesian performers do take place throughout the voyage, guests are mostly encouraged to socialise with each other in one of the ship’s lounges or bars. The ship’s main evening meeting places are La Palette, the Grand Salon and the Piano Bar. All offer a pleasing choice of beverages, and occasionally, live music.

Facilities on MS Paul Gauguin include:
