202M/V Victory I is a 202 guest capacity ship offering a unique cruise experience in North America and Canada. She was built in 2001 and underwent a full refurbishment in 2017 before entering service for Victory Cruise Lines.
Designed specifically for cruising coastal waters, she is a perfect choice should you be looking to explore the Great Lakes, the St Lawrence Seaway or coastal Canada and New England.
M/V Victory I Accommodation
The accommodation on M/V Victory I is comprised of six categories of stateroom and one suite category.
Five of the staterooms (categories E to A) are the same and offer an ocean view, with the only difference being their position on the ship. However, the category AA stateroom is slightly different and offers direct access to the ship’s open-air promenade.
In terms of facilities, all of the staterooms on M/V Victory I offer queen-sized beds (or two twins), an ensuite bathroom with top-of-the-range amenities, a safe, climate control, satellite television and a mini-fridge.
The suites are classified as Owner’s Suites and boast a semi-private terrace, one queen bed, a sofa bed, satellite television, climate control and an ensuite bathroom. Guests who cruise in the Owner’s Suites will also benefit from a complimentary laundry service.
M/V Victory I Dining & Restaurants
There are two restaurants to choose from on M/V Victory I. The ship’s main dining venue, The Shearwater Dining Room, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves up mouth-watering cuisine from the chef’s menu of regionally-inspired dishes.
The second restaurant – the Cliffe Rock Bar & Grille – is more informal and is where you can enjoy breakfast and lunch buffet-style and evening meals served at your table. Available on a reservation-only basis, “Hot Rock” cooking is the speciality in the Cliffe Rock Bar & Grille; simply choose your fresh ingredients and then sit back as they’re cooked to perfection on volcanic lava rock.
M/V Victory I Public Spaces & Facilities
M/V Victory I provides a variety of refined public spaces in which you can relax during your cruise. The Seascape Tavern has a classic ‘pub’ feel and is the ideal place to catch-up with new friends and fellow travellers, while the Compass Lounge – which is also the ship’s lecture venue – comes alive during the evening with live music, singalongs and a great menu of cocktails.
The Observation Deck and Sun Deck offer comfortable outside seating should you wish to make the most of the sunshine or indulge in a spot of star-gazing, while the Latitude Salon Spa offers a fantastic range of beauty treatments.
