Switzerland is a country in central Europe and is bordered by Germany, France and Italy. With no coastline the country is rarely visited by many cruise itineraries, however a popular port of call whilst cruising along the Rhine River is Basel. The city is situated in the north of the Country near the borders with both France and Germany.
