3,634The third of Royal Caribbean’s Freedom class, Independence of the Seas comes with all the attention grabbing, fun filled amenities of the previous ships such as the rock climbing wall and ice rink, but manages to fold in some more homely amenities for the British passenger. You’ll find tea and coffee making facilities in each cabin, and real English bacon at the breakfast buffet.
The excitement of actually being able to surf a wave at sea is hard to beat, or you could simply chill out in a hot tub in the amazing solarium. At night, the huge Royal Promenade is buzzing with street parties and entertainers. You could take it all in from an authentic English pub, or indulge your taste for the finer things at the fabulous champagne bar.
Savour live jazz twenty storeys above the sea in the stunning Viking Crown lounge, or go ‘back to the fifties’ in the retro Johnny Rockets diner. The casino is huge and there’s a two level disco to keep the action going on through the night.
With a huge range of accommodations from cosy insides to some spectacular suites- and some very family friendly rooms- the Independence of the Seas is a spectacular and lavish theme park for all age groups and lifestyles.
