136Sea Cloud Spirit is the youngest member of the Sea Cloud Cruises fleet, built-in 2020 and inaugurated in 2021. Weighing 5,431 tonnes and measuring 138 metres in length, she is the largest sailing ship in the world. She was also the first sailship to have an elevator installed. Boasting five decks – four accessible to passengers – she can carry up to 136 guests and features new-to-Sea Cloud facilities and amenities.
Building a three-mastered ship in the 21st century may seem unusual. But Sea Cloud demonstrates nothing less than a genuine passion for sailing. Under optimal wind conditions, there is no limit to where she can go. Her build allows for disembarkation in small, seldom-visited ports in addition to voyages to larger, more popular destinations. In 2023 and 2024, Sea Cloud Spirit will offer winter sailings to the Caribbean and Central America and Mediterranean cruises in the summer.

Staying in one of the ship’s cabins is like staying in a private luxury retreat. All cabins are elegantly decorated and surprisingly spacious and equipped with a smart HD TV, a mirrored dressing table, an electronic safe box, a minibar, and adjustable air-conditioning.
Bedtime snacks are provided daily, and a cabin stewardess visits twice a day, leaving your cabin looking and feeling like you are stepping inside for the first time. Of the 69 cabins, almost half feature private, step-out balconies and windows.
The accommodation is divided into six categories depending on the location of the cabins on the ship. The categories are as follows:
- Superior Single Cabins
- Superior Cabins
- Deluxe Cabins
- Deluxe Lido Cabins
- Junior Suites
- Owner Suites
All accommodation categories feature European power sockets (2-pin).
Accommodation highlights
Single Cabins:
Two Single Cabins (located on deck 2) can be booked without a single supplement to accommodate solo travellers.
Junior Suites:
All Junior Suites are equipped with queen-size beds, private balconies and walk-in wardrobes. The ensuites are significantly larger, featuring a separate bathtub and shower and stocked with top-of-the-range toiletries and bathrobes. Furthermore, the panoramic windows provide spectacular open views of the ocean.
Owner suites:
In addition to the above, Owner Suites offer a generously-sized sitting area – which doubles into an additional sleeping area – and a powder room.

There are two dining venues aboard Sea Cloud Spirit. The main restaurant is located on the verandah deck and serves local and continental cuisine accompanied by a wine selection that compliments the dishes perfectly. The Restaurant wraps around the ship’s stern, allowing guests to enjoy dinner with a view.
In addition to the main restaurant’s fine dining experience, Sea Cloud Spirits invites guests to enjoy a flexible Bistro menu selection on the lido deck. The Lido Bar and Bistro is also the perfect location for pre/post-dinner drinks, where guests can enjoy a beverage of their choice in the refreshing sea air.

Sea Cloud Spirit Sun Deck
Sea Cloud Spirit is brimming with facilities for a small ship, including two boutiques and four Zodiacs for independent exploration.
During the day
The ship’s exclusive wellness and spa area are on the cabin deck. The spa comprises two treatment and massage rooms, a steam bath, a Finnish sauna, a relaxation room, a multi-sensory shower and a beauty parlour with a hairdressing salon.
For those who like to keep active, the fitness area is located on the sun deck, equipped with the latest cardio equipment and a beautiful ocean backdrop courtesy of the panoramic windows. Relax just next door in the jacuzzi or on one of the many sun loungers and circular sunbeds that surround.
When night falls
Entertainment onboard Sea Cloud Spirit is a low-key affair. Typically, guests will mingle with other like-minded travellers or enjoy live piano music in the Lounge located on the lilo deck.
