220M/V Victory II is the latest addition to the Victory Cruise Lines fleet and entered service for the coastal operator in spring 2018. She offers capacity for 202 guests and is noted for her elegant onboard environment.
M/V Victory II was designed for cruising coastal waters which makes her the ideal vessel should be you looking to explore America’s Great Lakes, the St Lawrence Seaway or Canada and New England.
M/V Victory II Accommodation
M/V Victory II’s accommodation consists of six stateroom categories and one Owner’s Suite.
The staterooms are similar in layout; all offer an ocean view and facilities that include a queen-size bed (or two twins), an ensuite bathroom (with environmentally-friendly amenities), a personal safe, climate control, a television and a mini-fridge.
The category AA staterooms differ slightly and offer direct access to the ship’s open-air promenade.
The Owner’s Suites, of which there are two, boast a semi-private terrace, one queen-size bed, a sofa bed, a television, climate control and an ensuite bathroom. Guests who book an Owner’s Suite will also benefit from a complimentary laundry service.
M/V Victory II Dining & Restaurants
M/V Victory II offers a choice of two dining venues. The ship’s main restaurant, The Shearwater Dining Room, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves up delicious cuisine from the chef’s menu of regionally-inspired dishes.
The second, more informal, dining venue is the Cliff Rock Bar & Grille. Here you can enjoy breakfast and lunch buffet-style and evening meals served at your table. “Hot Rock” cooking is the speciality in the Cliff Rock Bar & Grille – simply choose your ingredients and then watch them being cooked to perfection on volcanic lava rock.
M/V Victory II Public Spaces & Facilities
The public spaces and facilities on M/V Victory II provide ample space for rest and relaxation, as well as the chance to meet up with new friends and fellow travellers. The Seascape Tavern is a pub-style affair, with wood panelling and evening entertainment courtesy of the ship’s resident musicians. During the day, the Compass Lounge is the go-to venue for lectures and educational talks, while in the evening it transforms into a vibrant cocktail lounge, complete with dancing, singalongs and cocktails.
The Observation Deck and Sun Deck provide comfortable outside seating for those looking to relax in the sun with a good book and is equally ideal for late-night stargazing. For pampering and beauty treatments, head to the Latitude Salon and Spa where you can choose from a range of manicures and pedicures.
