Cunard, the luxury cruise line, has unveiled a series of event voyages for 2024. The renowned flagship, Queen Mary 2, will host four of these exceptional journeys across the Atlantic. Meanwhile, Queen Elizabeth will embark on three captivating voyages, exploring the enchanting regions of Australia and Japan in early 2024.

Making a highly anticipated return, “London Theatre at Sea” (June 15–23, 2024) presents an alluring eight-night Eastbound Transatlantic Crossing dedicated to the world of musical theatre in collaboration with the prestigious Olivier Awards. The Crossing offers acting workshops, insightful behind-the-scenes discussions, and outstanding performances, all thoughtfully curated by Julian Bird, OBE.
Also making an appearance next year is the ‘Literature Festival at Sea‘ (November 13–20, 2024), where avid readers have the opportunity to enjoy seven days of literary events on the Westbound Transatlantic Crossing organized by the programming team of “The Times” and “The Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival.” Within every gripping “Literature Festival at Sea,” you’ll find a distinguished lineup of over 20 esteemed authors, boasting notable figures such as Ian Rankin, Victoria Hislop, and Simon Armitage as past headliners.
Marking a historic milestone since its beginning in 1840, Cunard’s iconic flagship, Queen Mary 2, is all set to embark on its momentous 400th Transatlantic Crossing (August 23–30, 2024) from New York to Southampton.
Celebrating another momentous occasion, Cunard marks the 15th anniversary of its renowned “National Symphony Orchestra” voyages (October 4–13, 2024), led by the esteemed maestro Anthony Inglis. During this unforgettable nine-night Eastbound Transatlantic Crossing via Newport and Boston, guests will have the exclusive opportunity to participate in choir rehearsals during the day and indulge in mesmerising classical concerts in the Royal Court Theatre by night.
Queen Elizabeth
Queen Elizabeth will proudly present the first “Sporting Greats & Wellness Voyage” (February 13–20, 2024), allowing sports enthusiasts to cruise alongside Australia’s legendary sporting superstars. This includes the renowned cricketer Brett Lee, esteemed golfer Karrie Webb, and Amanda McLaren, the respected owner of the prestigious British luxury car company.
The “Great Australian Culinary Voyage” (January 5–12, 2024) aboard Queen Elizabeth will be celebrated with exquisite food and wine, featuring the culinary prowess of an esteemed special guest and chef, Karen Martini. She will take over The Steakhouse at The Verandah, creating a fine dining experience for guests.
The “Big Band Ball” voyage (May 5–14, 2024) will allow guests to endure a remarkable journey of music and dance whilst exploring the captivating ports of Japan. During this delightful nine-night circumnavigation, guests will be treated to an immersive experience celebrating the golden age of Swing with the addition of a special guest, the talented vocalist, pianist, and songwriter Joe Stilgoe, whose melodic performances promise to add an extra magic touch at sea.
