According to a recent press release, HX (Hurtigruten Expeditions) announced MS Muad‘s return in April 2024.
After the required repairs due to weather damage in late December, MS Muad will set sail on an expedition around the British Isles.
Guests onboard can explore remote islands and various coastlines, which HX’s Expedition Team leads. The ship and the crew will welcome the Scottish weather presenter Carol Kirkwood on its second sailing around the British Isles. Guests onboard can expect insightful talks alongside Q&A sessions while sailing from Douglas to Dover.
In July, MS Muad will journey towards the Arctic, exploring Iceland and Greenland with itineraries allowing guests to grow closer to the local communities and wilderness of the north.
At the start of October, the ship is due to sail south to Antarctica for various new expeditions, combined with the majestic Patagonian Fjords with Antarctica. A highlighted itinerary is a 23- and 24-day sailing adventure exploring South America, South Georgia, and the Falkland Islands in a single adventure. In addition to that, another highlighted itinerary is the 17-day Chilean Patagonia and Antarctica expedition.
