Klang Cruises
Whilst it was under British colonisation, Port Klang was known as Port Swettenham when it was founded in the late 1800s.
The ports location means it often serves as a gateway into Kuala Lumpur, though there is enough nearby to keep visitors interested if they are only stopping for a short time. The local restaurants and eateries specialise in Chinese cuisine and it’s worth taking a trip to the mangrove covered island of Pulau Ketam, where the buildings and houses rest on stilts.
