Princess Cays Cruises

Bingo. Princess Cays is a remote peninsula near the tip of Eleuthera Island, about 30 miles across the sea from Nassau. About forty acres of land are reserved exclusively for the cruise line's passengers.
Some of the earliest Bahamian settlements were near Eleuthera (Harbour Island once served as the nation's capital), and the island has a rich history. However, you wont't be coming to Princess Cays to take a Bahamian history lesson. Save that for another port another day. You'll be coming to Princess Cays to enjoy the warm water, to relax on the sand, and to let your mind wander.
Activities at this Princess-only place begin and end at the beach. Swimming, kayaking, paddle boating, banana boating (visit and find out what that's about!), snorkeling, jet-skiing, and parasailing fill the day. Kids have their own playground and pint-size "pirate ship" to occupy their time. Explorers will take to the trails to find the Crow's Nest, the Mangrove Lagoon, and the Lagoon Lookout.
Non-activities achieve near-perfection here, too. Search the Palm Grove for a hammock or beach chair, or float offshore on a raft.
Around noontime, the "Junkanoo" procession begins with colorfully costumed Bahamians dancing to the drumbeat. Things soon settle down as guests head for one of the two open-air barbeque pavilions or to the Banana Bar for a cool one. Shopping's an option, too, at the Tropical Treasures boutique or any of the local vendors offering handicrafts, souvenirs, or hair braiding.
