Azamara Club Cruises motto is ‘you’ll love where we take you’ and it’s very true, but thanks to what they offer onboard I doubt they would even need to take you anywhere in order for you to love it!
The line prides themselves on offering guests luxurious cruise holidays to regions including the Caribbean, Mediterranean, South America and Asia. They boast exceptional cuisine, state-of-the-art spa and health facilities and the massively popular AzAmazing Evenings at Sea. Really, what more could you want from a cruise?
The AzAmazing Evenings at Sea programme has proven to be an absolute hit with guests. Azamara are well known for the length of time their ships spend in each port and the fact they offer more overnighters than many other cruise lines, but the introduction of AzAmazing Evenings really took the shore experience to an entirely new and unexplored level.
Each AzAmazing Evening showcases the very best of local culture, cuisine, music and theatre within beautiful private settings like ancient palaces or tropical gardens and best of all its entirely complimentary! One thing to note though is that you do need to register your place pre-voyage so please, don’t forget!
AzAmazing Evenings 2014
Personally I am a big fan of what Azamara offers their guests and the AzAmazing Evenings programme really grabbed me when I first heard about it. Because of this I wanted to share three voyages with you that offer an AzAmazing Evening that I would certainly want to be a part of.

The AzAmazing Evening shall be held on the night of the 22nd in Gustavia and it is aptly titled ‘Carnival Calypso and Conga’.
Immerse yourself in a rousing show that reveals the very art of Carnival, a dynamic show of music, dance and over the top feathered costumes, you can’t help but want to move your feet! Singers and dancers shall perform classic Calypso, a harmonic blend of rhythms and melodies accompanied by steel drums, maracas and horns. You can end the evening with ‘Jump in the Line’ an irresistible conga dance made famous by Harry Belafonte. Try not to get too over-excited though as you still have your Caribbean rum to sample too!

Myanmar loves festivals, in fact not a month passes by without one, whether celebrating the end of the rainy season, the rice season, the beginning and the end of the Buddhist lent season or the country’s beautiful pagodas. The majority of the festivals are held on nights of the full moon and on this particular evening you shall be a part of these ancient traditions at the Myanmar Festival compound in Yangon. There will be elephant dancers, magic shows and local craftspeople selling traditional goods. You will also enjoy beverages and local cuisine influenced by Chinese, Burmese and Indian traditions.
