For the fourth year running, Regent Seven Seas Cruises‘ World Cruise has sold out in record time.
The 150-night long voyage, the longest in the line’s history, sold out before bookings opened on 15 June, with fares starting at £69,389 per person for a Deluxe Veranda Suite and rising to £191,949 per person for a Master Suite. The more expensive suites were the first to sell out.
Jason Montague, President and Chief Executive Officer at RSSC, said, “We have received unprecedented interest in this sailing and this phenomenal booking record shows once again that people, just like the world itself, are now open to travel and are not going to wait around and let opportunities pass them by.”
“It is remarkable that luxury travellers continue to sign up, or want to remain on the waitlist, in case some guests cancel their reservation between now and the sailing in two and a half years’ time – people simply want to explore as much as possible”, he added.
Seven Seas Mariner will depart on 7 January 2025 from Miami, Florida to San Francisco, California, covering nearly 100 ports of call in 25 countries across five continents.
RSSC will treat guests to 395 complimentary shore excursions and 16 overnight port stays, allowing for extended exploration in destinations such as Rio de Janeiro, Bora Bora and Ho Chi Minh City. Passengers will also visit 48 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Rapa Nui National Park and the Sydney Opera House.
Around 25% of guests – of which a third are new to RSSC – have extended their cruise with an 18-night Mexican Riviera sailing, visiting ports in Costa Rica, Colombia and more and featuring a full transit of the Panama Canal.
For those who missed out on the 2025 World Cruise, Montague explains, “We will open early reservation requests on 6 July for our 2024/25 Legendary Journeys Collection. These Grand Voyages will offer longer sailings of up to 83 nights spanning the Arctic, Asia, Australia and the Mediterranean and will officially be on sale on 20 July.”
