Luxury cruise operator Silversea Cruises has revealed all regarding Silver Nova ahead of her launch in the summer.
You may have read our latest blog, 10 New Cruise Ships Arriving in 2023, and noted the arrival of a new Silversea Cruises ship later in the year. Silver Nova is the first in a new class of ships and the line’s largest and most innovative vessel yet.

Sustainability
Silver Nova will bring a new meaning to sustainable cruising when she launches in August as the world’s first multi-hybrid, low-emissions cruise ship. Powered by liquified natural gas, batteries and fuel cells, she will produce 40% fewer emissions than other cruise ships of her size and zero emissions while in port by using ship-to-shore power.
A new openness to the world
Open decks and unobstructed views will bring guests closer to the destinations they visit. Silver Nova is the first ship in the line’s history to feature an asymmetrical design, with the accommodations at the bow and the entertainment venues at the stern. She will also boast the largest swimming pool in the fleet, located at the side of the ship.

The S.A.L.T. concept has also been taken up a notch. The S.A.L.T. Bar will be the biggest yet and feature a larger bar area and more seating courtesy of a new outdoor space. Similarly, the S.A.L.T. Lab will feature a redesigned counter, allowing for larger group sessions and seating.

A new luxury experience
Silver Nova will also raise the bar in ultra-luxury cruising by offering more choice and variety onboard. Guests can choose from thirteen suite categories, including two new OTIVM Suites, both of which benefit from a private jacuzzi and 270-degree views.

Furthermore, guests can dine in a different venue each evening with the choice of eight restaurants and 10 bars, including the new open-air Dusk Bar and The Shelter located in the nightlife district of the ship.

In terms of wellness, the OTIVM Spa will be the most impressive yet, featuring more treatment rooms and a beautiful indoor swimming pool inspired by the baths of ancient Rome.

When will Silver Nova debut?
Silver Nova will depart from Venice, Italy on 14 August 2023. She will spend seven nights exploring Slovenia, Croatia and Montenegro before returning to the Italian port. Fares are available from £5,599 per person and include everything from private door-to-door transfers to complimentary daily shore excursions.
