Luxury cruise operator Silversea Cruises have shared the first details of the accommodations available on their new ship, Silver Nova. The 728-guest vessel, which will debut in July 2023, will offer guests an extensive choice of seven new suite categories, including the Signature Suite and the Otium Suite.
Designed in partnership with the leading Italian architectural firm GEM, the suites on Silver Nova revolve around the concept of ‘whispered luxury’ and take inspiration from the accommodation featured on recent Silversea ships such as Silver Dawn and Silver Origin. Furthermore, Silver Nova’s innovative horizontal layout – the suites run the length of the vessel across four decks – will result in more space per suite, providing a ‘more intimate guest experience’.
The accommodation on Silver Nova will “perfectly blend heritage with design innovation”.
Commenting on GEM’s approach to designing the new-look accommodation, Giacomo Mortola said:
“Our longstanding relationship with Silversea Cruises enabled us to perfectly blend heritage with design innovation in Silver Nova. It was important to maintain Silversea’s elegant Italian DNA with whispered luxury and a consistent brand vision… with Silver Nova; we had the opportunity to create something that is truly pioneering in the industry”.
Silver Nova’s suite categories range in size from 357 sq. ft. to 1324 sq. ft. and boast an array of reimaginings, including a new walk-in closet design, integrated headboard lights and a colour palette inspired by natural sea and earth tones. In addition, the bathrooms have been remodelled and now feature an oversized mirror, with selected suite categories also offering a separate bathtub or spacious whirlpool.

Two of the new additions, the Signature Suite and the Otium Suite, are sure to prove among the most popular with Silversea’s loyal guests. The Signature Suite offers stunning views courtesy of large windows in each of the interior spaces while also boasting one of the largest balconies on Silver Nova. The Otium Suite flows in tandem with Silversea’s new wellness programme, Otium℠ and is the first Silversea suite to be located in an aft corner position. With a 431 sq. ft balcony and huge floor-to-ceiling windows, the Otium Suite promises to be one of the most luxurious accommodations at sea.
