Windstar Cruises has officially announced its sponsorship with AEG, making it the official cruise line of The O2, AEG’s entertainment venue in London, starting this month.
This partnership gives Windstar Cruises brand exposure at The O2, a popular leisure, retail, and entertainment venue that hosts over 200 events a year.
This partnership ties into Windstar’s connection with the Anschutz Corporation, which owns AEG and Windstar’s parent company, Xanterra. It provides Windstar with brand exposure throughout the venue, helping to reach new potential guests.

Windstar Cruises is in partnership with O2
Expanding into the UK cruise market, Windstar now offers itineraries tailored for UK travellers. These include a series of three- to four-night voyages sailing roundtrip from Santa Cruz de Tenerife between November and February, sailings in the Mediterranean and Greece, and two seven-night Northern Europe cruises with homeports in London.
As part of this partnership with The O2, a Windstar ship model will be on display year-round in The O2’s premium space, The Ninety-Third by Qatar Airways.
President of Windstar, Christopher Prelong said, “We are thrilled to be showcasing our brand in this iconic venue and to be reaching new prospective guests for Windstar. AEG, The O2, and Windstar are all leaders in their respective categories, and we feel this is a great first step in a meaningful and rich collaboration.”
Vice President at AEG Global Partnerships, Nathan Kosky, added: “We warmly welcome Windstar Cruises, our newest sponsor to The O2, as they explore new opportunities for their expansion. We look forward to working together to showcase their offering to the millions of fans who visit the venue every year.”
